
WIN2EDIH is a European Digital Innovation Hub launched in Ukraine to support business and entrepreneurship development. This project is a part of the Digital Europe Programme, a European Union funding initiative, that provides digital technologies to businesses, citizens, and public administrations, with a total budget of €7.9 billion.
The hub will focus on technologies such as cybersecurity, the Internet of Things (IoT), automation and robotics, virtual reality, cloud services, manufacturing, artificial intelligence, etc.. The European Commission will allocate up to €4.5 million to co-finance the EDIH network in Ukraine.
Key areas of WIN2EDIH’s work:
- Test before invest services – verification of technologies and hypotheses before launch
- Training and skills development services
- Support to find investment services – support for entrepreneurs in finding and attracting funding
- Innovation ecosystem building services – assistance in accessing the European innovation network and strengthening the Ukrainian tech community
The EDIH network acts as a “one-stop shop,” where businesses, innovators, and government institutions can access all the resources necessary for successful digital transformation. Special attention is given to supporting small and medium-sized enterprises, enabling them to adapt to the trends of the digital economy and remain competitive in the European market.
The launch of WIN2EDIH in Ukraine is a joint initiative by the Kyiv National Economic University named after Vadym Hetman, Zhytomyr Polytechnic State University, Chernihiv Polytechnic National University, the Ukrainian Startup Fund, Vacuum Deep Tech Acceleration, and YEP Accelerator.
