On November 30th, a landmark event took place in Europe’s innovation ecosystem – a conference organised by the European Institute of Innovation and Technology (EIT) and its Knowledge and Innovation Communities (KICs). The event celebrated the 10th anniversary of the EIT Regional Innovation Scheme (EIT RIS), a programme that aims to reduce regional innovation gaps.

The event also included the EIT Jumpstarter Grand Finals, where our director Anna was among the jury members during the pitch of Rebuild Ukraine. Congratulations to the winners Drone NonDestructive Testing, AGRE team, and CathodMiner!

🎉 The EIT Jumpstarter programme has made it possible to demonstrate innovative ideas of young startups. Since its inception, it has helped to create almost 120 startups, create more than 2,100 jobs and attract €150 million in investment. Participants had the opportunity to watch exciting live pitching sessions and an award ceremony for the best projects.

🇺🇦 Separate presentations of EIT Infrabooster and EIT Red Kalyna became an important platform for Ukrainian innovators, showing the potential of our country in shaping the innovative future of Europe. This event was not only a celebration of innovation, but also an opportunity to join forces to create a competitive and sustainable Europe.
